A year ago I began my 3D journey. April 6th, 2021 I got sick from COVID and had to quarantine. So much was going on in my life at this time. I now reflect on that time and am thankful to God/The Universe for allowing me to re-align myself with my true passion and talent . Like most people, I spent the first day binge-watching tv and social media content. Suddenly I came across this amazing world of 3D art that truly resonated with me. Growing up playing Sims and other avatar computer games, seeing all these early 2000's 3D art, I never realized how much impact 3D art had on my life. I remember my music teacher in middle school played this animation for us and I was immediately enamored. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTc1b3bQCKM)
Growing up in the age of the internet and computers, I've always had this love for technology. To be able to finally combine my love for both technology and art is truly a blessing. When it finally came full circle last year in quarantine, I knew I had to dedicate my time to learning 3D art. I found my first YouTube 3D donut tutorial, turned my Finsta into an art account and began posting.
So much can be obtained within a year and I am so grateful to have had the wake up call that I did in 2021. Here's to a year of dedication and growth for all artist pushing through the doubt and fear to create in a society that doesn't put much value on such dreams and aspirations. If you find yourself always going back to something, it might be time to pursue that. Who knows, maybe it's your destiny calling.
