Just this past weekend I set out to Jackson, Mississippi to be apart of a collaborative exhibition with my co creator Eric Buckley. I was asked to design the graphics and mask for a lenticular dress and couldn't contain the excitement I felt seeing it in person. Almost to the exact date three years ago I decided to learn 3D on YouTube, and now I'm bringing it into the real world. It's truly a dream, which has possibly allowed me to discover a new creative spark in myself, Masks and faces.

When I was a child my Black American parents so deeply in awe of their African ancestry would have these beautifully carved African masks and trinkets in the home. Something that may have instilled in me an appreciation and natural draw to beautiful black things. I don't know where this inkling will take me, but surprisingly it's gotten me here, and the amount of love and joy I feel to have gotten to this point by doing what I love is immense. So I will continue to create, discover, and express myself beyond the edge of this box we sometimes frame our lives in, this box we sometimes call life.
